Job Description

We have two roles with one focused on candles, light holders and the other role is focused on pots & vases, trays, sculptures, mirrors & frames. In the role as Junior Designer you will assist the Product Designer in creating on trend, commercial and coordinated assortment from product ideas, development all the way to final product. The assignment includes creating and updating technical sketches, 3D, artworks and presentation material. You will also assist in product development, sample approvals and administrative tasks.

You share our passion for interior and have a strong entrepreneurial spirit with drive and good interpersonal skills. You are motivated by working at a fast pace in a friendly team environment.
 

Qualifications

  • A minimum BA qualification in 3D Product Design, Interior Design or Industrial Design
  • Broad technical and material knowledge
  • Excellent skills in Adobe Suite
  • 3D CAD programs experience, preferably Solidworks, Rhino
  • Strong illustration & drawing skills
  • A creative and visionary mindset with a strong passion for interior design
  • Good communication skills, a flexible attitude and capacity to adapt to changes are essential
  • Highly organized with good time management
  • Excellent team player
  • Is fluent in English

Your portfolio should have an aspirational fashion & lifestyle handwriting. It should include design process, sketch book ideas, mood boards/research, cad drawings, design development to final ideas. Please kindly note that in order for us to consider your application you should also include work which is suited to the H&M HOME aesthetic.

Starting date will either be end of July or mid  August depending on which position and you will report to Competence Lead for Design. These roles are based at head office in central Stockholm.
