Job Description

As a Conversion Specialist at Afound you are responsible for presenting the highest converting deals and content to our customers on the marketplace. We are a digital company, and our everyday focus reflects that. The role requires a customer centric mindset when developing expertise in what content is driving engagement, usability, and conversion. You will take part in design sprints and keep a close collaboration with developers, UI/UX designers and web analysts in the Online Sales team. You act as a bridge between data models and customer interactions on site and in newsletters. You will report to our Head of Marketplace and work within the Business-Tech team responsible for afound.com.  

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Use data to investigate how visitors/customers use the site, what problems they encounter and suggest solutions for how to overcome these problems to enable successful conversions
  • Proactively look for sales potential and present best offer to the customer
  • Work in CMS, Product recommendation system and Newsletter service provider system
  • Analyze data in BI, Google analytics, Content square and A/B test data in Optimizely
  • Produce, publish and analyze content

Qualifications

To be a successful Conversion Specialist we also believe you have:

  • Relevant education and experience in a similar CRO role or as a web analyst or web publisher
  • You test yourself and you know that within CRO there are no bad tests, all tests are lessons learned
  • Maintain an active awareness of industry trends and best practices
  • You are driven and curious, our customers' needs and wishes change at a rapid pace, you are driven by hypotheses and data to respond to the changes
