Product Owner to Assortment Curation & Presentation

The product Assortment Curation & Presentation empowers assortment and regional teams to curate and present relevant and accurate information about the assortment through efficient, flexible and data-driven solutions. This will drive customer value by enabling clear, inviting, and exciting omni offers for all brands, in all regions, channels and touch points.

As a Product Owner at H&M Group, you will define the strategic vision for your product and create the product roadmap. You have a deep understanding of the target market/industry and build close relationships with key collaboration partners to ensure that the team’s effort is aligned with overall strategy. As a Product Owner you align priorities with other teams while identifying, building and managing strategic partnership across the different teams.

You will work alongside world-class Engineers, Designers, Business Experts and Data Analysts in an agile team, with full accountability for the business and customer value delivered by your product. You will also set Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and KPIs that your product will drive towards. Furthermore, you will collaborate with other product owners to ensure business value and to maximize each product’s impact on the world, always keeping customers at the heart of our focus.

Responsibilities
As a Product Owner for the product area Assortment Curation & Presentation, you will lead the product and be accountable for maximizing the value of the product, while also setting ambitious and clear product vision. You will collaborate and communicate with stakeholders and the product team​ and have an understanding and contribute to the end-to-end team output strategy from inception to production​. In addition to this, you will: 

  • Own and maintain the product backlog and prioritize based on the given OKRs and KPIs
  • Understands financial impact of team and product related decisions​ 
  • Optimize flows, solve problems and comply to legal requirements
  • Work in rapidly changing environment

Things we look for
As Product Owner you are expected to show strong customer empathy and have a deep business understanding as well as strong appreciation for technology. You believe in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. Product leadership and communicative skills are essential to be successful in the role. Furthermore, we believe you have:  

  • 7+ years of professional experience within Product Management
  • A track record of leading cross-functional development teams to achieve the common mission, prioritizing work and inspiring the team to improve​ 
  • Functional knowledge of agile methodologies and have worked in an agile context
  • Work effectively with both the customer’s business and IT processes
  • Ability to build OKRs and KPIs and metrics that are important for the specific product and realizing them into actions
  • Very good communication skills and the ability to clearly explain the complex in simple terms
  • A “dare to change” mindset
  • Self-motivation

It is beneficial if you have:

  • An IT company background, building in new tech landscape, Azure, capabilities, APIs
  • Online retailer / Visual merchandising experience
