Job Description

Contribute with excellent analytical expertise, strategic strength, and a passion for doing business and creating results.  In the role you will create the best customer offer by driving a clear strategy in Retail + Online channels connected to sales, stock management and allocation of products to maximize selling and profitability.

Key responsibilities:

Selling & Customer Offer

  • Responsible for the execution of commercial actions, enabling us to sell our garments as quick as possible at the lowest cost in both channels and a support to the Head of Merchandising and Supply Chain Merchandiser in strategic planning
  • Analyze results and seek opportunities to increase omni selling. Facilitate and be contact point for tests and growth in the market in respect to Merchandising
  • Work closely with the E-Commerce Team to create an appealing, eye-catching, and commercial online store.

Stock Management

  • Responsible for executing an omni supply chain strategy in partnership with our Supply Chain Merchandiser, warehouse team and informed by feedback from the Area and Store teams
  • Secure overall market stock levels, planning for optimal stock freshness with the right balance between seasons while driving commercial actions and healthy reduction levels
  • Responsible for the %market buying method for the market in both channels – analyze and set accurate goals for profitable growth by meeting market demand and optimize stock freshness

Team & Leadership

  • Be a strong and experienced informal leader working within OMNI Merchandising team for Weekday and that develops the Merchandising knowledge level of area and retail store teams in the market
  • Influence the development of omni way of working for Merchandising
  • Can travel to stores regularly for stock management and cater to local needs

Qualifications

  • You have a background that provides a thorough and holistic understanding of the retail and/or ecommerce business
  • You have a strong track record of business results from your previous roles preferably within Merchandising, Business Analyst or Business Controlling.
  • Analytical and data driven mindset with a clear focus on results
  • Experience in Power BI, Excel, is a plus, with an eagerness to learn new systems
  • You have solid leadership experience, a firm “customer first” mindset and strong strategic abilities
  • When the situation permits you may be expected to travel and visit our Weekday stores in Russia
  • Spoken and written language skills: native Russian and professional-level English
