Job Description
As Demand & Supply Planning Manager CEU your main aim is to improve relevance in our customer offer and increase profitability. You develop long-term buying strategies as well as identify selling potentials and initiate actions with buying on short-term goals. You constantly keep yourself informed regarding your Region in terms of macro-economic factors, retail situation and price positioning. You are eager to be a step ahead of competition: you visit competitors, you know the market shares on customer group and you set up strategies to create a competitive advantage for H&M. You cooperate with Business Units, Assortment Office, Regional Merchandising Team and Logistic Supply Chain.
Key responsibilities including areas such as:
Profitability, sustainable growth and the best customer offer
- Defining, driving and executing commercial plan as well as buying & price strategy for the Region
- Supporting the Merchandising team with analysis on income, buying levels and selling plans
- Initiating actions to optimize sales growth and profitability aligned with assortment needs and inventory management across channels and markets within the region
- Coordinating and driving goal setting process within your Region
- Keeping a clear and frequent communication with the Assortment Office & Business Units to drive and follow up your quantified goals and to optimize the assortment mix for your Region
- Developing methods/tools and driving the buying function forward to create value for stakeholders
- Keeping a close contact with Online to have an overview on how to optimize the buying in both channels
Being a leader
- Strengthening teamwork, supporting and co-leading your colleagues in reaching common goals
- Acting as the analytical engine, generating creative insights and recommending relevant actions around all processes related to seasonal planning and buying for Region
- Developing others by sharing your knowledge and expertise
- Driving the motivation and growth mindset within and outside of your team

Besides your personality we see that you have:
- experience as a Regional Merchandise Manager, Business Controller or Market Planner
- knowledge of Assortment processes and the understanding of buying processes
- Analytically thinking and enjoy working on a strategical level
- You achieve results and have a proven track record of exceeding expectations in your current role
- fluency in English with strong presentation skills
- Communication that empowers others and support you in building business relations with wide range of stakeholders as well as being influential in nature
- an entrepreneurial approach
