We are looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented Engineering Manager with centric C8 experience to join our PLM team. You will serve as a critical resource in the PLM team for C8 implementation and ongoing support of H&M Group’s global PLM system. As Engineering Manager you will lead and support the full PLM team, and help facilitate tasks across technical and functional departments. You will collaborate across all teams to ensure a seamless exchange and management of product data and the overall user experience. Responsibilities
As Engineering Manager you will provide a technical and process-oriented approach to PLM, as well as strategic insights to evolve and enhance the user experience. You will also build and manage the application team. Your responsibility is to work with the business leads and technical development teams to provide best-in-class scalable solutions and deliver in a timely manner. You will thrive in a highly collaborative workplace and actively engage in the development process. You will lead the development team and establish processes to meet quality standards, as well as coordinate support activities and identify solutions for complex issues. Furthermore, you will:

  • Gather requirements, Create solution proposals and specification documentation
  • Configure, Customize & Build solutions to meet business processes and requirements.
  • Work closely with Business/Solution Architects/Developers and support them for drawing estimates, developing prototypes, and implementing quality solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leads and business teams to develop PLM road map
  • Assure data integrity and provide solutions when inconsistencies are identified
  • Design integrations in line with the system footprint in the organization
  • Lead the Release Management and Deployment process
  • Manage Vendor resources from a delivery standpoint
  • Manage and build a team of engineers, analysts, consultants

Furthermore, we believe you have:

  • Senior experience from PLM software implementations and maintenance
  • Experience from working as an Engineering Manager (or similar) with staff responsibility
  • Knowledge and experience of agile methods and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
  • Worked with product mission, OKR creation, roadmap development & management
  • Senior experience from mapping business requirements to technical requirements and solutions

It is also beneficial if you have:

  • Senior experience from Centric C8 PLM, especially with Style/Product, Material, BOM, Tech Pack, , Change, as well as ERP and/or Planning integrations
  • Senior C8 Solution Designing skills for both Client, Server, and integration with third-party applications such as PIM, ERP etc
  • Thorough understanding of Centric C8 architecture, Reflective Data Model (graph/node), and other configurations. REST API and MQ (RabbitMQ) are needed for integration support and strong SQL skills
  • Experience in Centric C8 modules/capabilities such as Workflow (BPNM modelling – e.g. Camunda), Expression writing, Range Planning, Change Management, Hierarchy and Item Classification, Master Data Library Designs (material, size, color), Sourcing, Costing and Pricing, Purchase Orders and Quality Management Roll-up engine optimization
  • Centric advanced configuration skills ML/JSON/JS
  • GCP experience and certificates
  • Coding & architecture skills in Java, Python, C++ advantageous - JS (dojo, TypeScript or angular)
