Product Owner – Mobile Devices in Store

Company Description

We are looking for a Product Owner for team that works with Mobile Devices in Product area Store Enablement within Customer Domain.

The new Store Enablement Area within the Customer Domain will play a key role in enabling the future store experience. The area is set on a mission to provide a unified and more streamlined experience to our store staff through a unified store staff experience, better coordination on rollouts and a simplified interface between Business Tech and our stores. The area will create a stable platform to build store specific applications on run on modernized devices, based on holistic store staff vision, journeys and release management.

The Store Mobile Device team is focused on delivering a mobile hardware platform designed for frictionless store use that is, secure, modular, and can evolve with future use cases. Our mobile platform supports both internal applications covering everything from inventory management to communication, as well as applications used for direct customer service. 

Job Description

  • Accountable for the delivery, roadmap and product strategy and will have the ultimate accountability for the business and customer value delivered by your product.  
  • To do this, you will lead a cross-functional, multi-competence product team in close collaboration with key stakeholders, always keeping customers at the heart of our focus. You will define the strategic vision for your team and create the product roadmap based on a deep understanding of the market / industry, insights & data on your customers, and input from stakeholders across the company. 
  • You will have a task to identify the right stakeholders and prioritize demands/requirements within the local and global organization for the delivery to our many stores. 
  • Strong skills to market product ideas within the local country organization and H&M globally. 
  • Working closely with the Product Area Manager and other Product Owners to ensure overall alignment, you will set objectives & key results that your product will drive toward. You will also identify, build, and manage strategic partnerships across products, working to manage dependencies. 
  • You will have a task to identify the right stakeholders and prioritize demands/requirements within the local and global organization for the delivery to our many stores. 
  • Strong skills to market product ideas within the local country organization and H&M globally 

Qualifications

  • Direct experience in managing globally supported hardware & device technologies 
  • Previous experience working with hardware procurement processes 
  • Experience managing outsourced providers in delivering technology services to retail stores globally 
  • Knowledge of Android OS and Enterprise Device management highly valued 
  • Deep Knowledge of Lean and Agile software development processes 
  • Customer obsessed! 
  • Proven track record of strong salesmanship, communication, negotiation, and networking skills, both with internal and external partners 
  • Previous PO experience or other leadership role leading cross functional team of tech experts 
  • The stakeholder environment in this area is complex, diverse, and evolving! Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and integration skills are critical.  
  • Strong in planning, prioritizing, execution, and follow up together with a “can-do attitude”
