Job Description

The Digital receipt team works towards a solution where the paper receipt can be replaced with a digital receipt for all store purchases made within the H&M group. This is an important task to achieve the sustainability goal of H&M and to deliver a modern digital solution to the customers.

The team is responsible for the backend part of the digital receipt solution. The solution needs to be a highly robust solution to manage more than 10 million receipts daily. The success rate and delivery time of the digital receipts is crucial. 

The Digital receipt Service solution is design to utilize PaaS capabilities within the Microsoft Azure Cloud to the highest extent possible. This was to be able to provide a robust and easy to use solution with high availability and performance within a very short period. 

As a Software Engineer at H&M Group you will embark on a journey that will lead to something new and exciting - we will test, fail, and learn. You are an important player in this transformation, and so we believe you are communicative, flexible, stress-resistant, and able to work in an environment that is not yet formalized. 

We also believe that you:

1. Have good knowledge and minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services such as Azure Storage, Azure Development and Configuration, Azure Cosmos DB / Document DB, Azure App service.
2. Have minimum 5 years of experience in coding in .NET Core, MVC but also other languages and frameworks
3. Any certification in Microsoft Azure Cloud and .NET will be an added advantage. 
4. Have experience from integration projects
5. Have experience working in an agile environment
6. Approx. 7-11 years’ experience’ in a highly competitive environment working on cutting edge solutions
