In this role you will continue to build and strengthen the L&D specialist team within the H&M brand and drive the work of translating business needs and way of working into concrete competence areas and L&D deliverables, taking ongoing transformations into account. You will set and drive the overall H&M brand L&D strategy and competence development in close collaboration with leaders, HR colleagues and business experts in and across our Head Office and Regions. Together with colleagues from our Community of Expertise (CoE) you are taking the bigger picture into consideration when designing and making decisions regarding future direction – it is all about collaboration and co-creation across our H&M Group including all of our brands as well as global and central group functions. You will also:

  • Play an active role in our ongoing transformation within the H&M Brand and lead the work to support our Regions and Global functions with methods and learning solutions for upskilling to ensure our employees are equipped with the future competences required within OMNI.
  • Lead a team responsible for driving learning culture, structure and content strategy that caters for different learning solutions (e.g. technology-enabled learning and leadership development initiatives). Take ownership for how we package and promote L&D messaging to employees and leaders.
  • Lead a team with different skillsets within L&D, and to a large extent coordinate networks in the H&M brand globally with colleagues in our markets. Contribute to the H&M Group L&D “CoE”, develop frameworks and methodologies for the entire cycle of L&D
  • Contribute to our organization by educating and coaching Leaders and HR colleagues regarding ways of working and professional practices within skills and capability development. Act as a trusted partner in this field to senior management in the H&M brand.
  • Collaborate with HR specialists in other HR fields to make sure strategies and ways of working are harmonized and support the business, specifically with workforce planning, talent development and inclusion and diversity.

On top of this, we believe that you

  • Have a relevant academic background within behavioral science or equivalent
  • Have extensive experience from working in a complex international business setting
  • Strong and proven track record in developing a global L&D strategy, deploying learning solutions at scale and experience in how to practically build a learning organisation.
  • You take an active interest in and are on top of tech solutions within the L&D area
  • Strong background within the leadership competence area
  • Excellent English language skills, both verbal & written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Have experience and knowledge in how to break down strategic and operational business need into concrete workflow/tasks
  • You demonstrate financial management and are skilled in making informed decisions based on data and statistics
