Job Description

Short description of the Product area and team-

In the Customer Fulfilment domain, you will be part of our Inventory Optimization Product Area responsible for creating stable, scalable core solutions supporting our supply chain.

The Store Stock Moves SAP team consists of one Product Owner, a part-time Business Expert and 8 Software Engineers. We optimize product availability by moving store stock to the right place and right time considering both sustainability and our customers’ needs. Store staff find our solutions as automated as possible and where not possible they are intuitive and fun to use.

Work tasks - What work tasks are to be performed?

  • This functional role as a Software Engineer holds a broad spectrum from functional knowledge, configuration and testing and technical competencies covering SAP SD & MM. Core expertise in Supply Chain/Logistics, as well as Inventory Management, is qualifying.
  • Work with professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle
  • Translate product strategy and objectives into world-class maintainable and scalable solutions
  • Collaborate and co-create closely with your Product Owner and other teams

Qualifications

Technical Competencies-   

Mandatory requirements, both competence and tools:

  • Experience in agile software engineering with either Kanban or SCRUM
  • SAP configuration experience mainly in SAP SD/MM
  • Analysing production incidents
  • Solution design & requirements gathering according to RICEFW 
  • Cross-coordination towards different stakeholders
  • Test automation and integration testing

Qualifying requirements:

  • NetWeaver & Web Dynpro
  • Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence etc.)
  • Experience with Tosca/ECT, UFT or other test automation suites
  • Knowledge of integration patterns, IDOCs, QRFC, SAP Cloud PI & Azure
  • Functional S/4 HANA experience
  • SAP Gateway / OData Services / Core Data Services / SAP Fiori / UI5
  • An understanding of ABAP code
