Job Description

Are you a Junior Print Designer who have great passion for the Girls customer? Do you enjoy working in high tempo and with different types of products on a daily basis? Then this might be the role for you!

THE POSITION 

As a Junior Print Designer at the Young Girls department you will work with prints for a wide range of product types for our customer, focus is on jersey types. You will be working closely with the responsible print designer to develop prints for our collection in all markets. We strongly value a genuine interest and understanding of the H&M Young Girls print handwriting which is of highest importance for the commercial success of the product range. It’s a creative and international work environment!

On Young girl, license prints are important elements in the collection, you will be an important player in the team to update her favourite license characters’ prints, and also to provide her with what is new. We think this is the role for you who are flexible and love working with prints for different products on a daily basis. You can handle many parallel tasks simultaneously. The candidate we look for has the ambition to develop further within our dept.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU 

We are looking for someone with a true love and passion for the Girls customer and products, and who is positive, energetic, creative and playful with a great eye for upcoming Young Girls fashion print trends.

In addition to this, we believe you:  

  • Work as a junior print designer today
  • Have strong skills in graphics, fonts, drawing and illustration
  • Can create a variety of print styles for various looks
  • Have good knowledge and experience of different print techniques/ textile designing 
  • High tempo in Photoshop and Illustrator
  • 3D CLO work experience is strongly meriting
  • Are customer focused and understand the Young Girls target group
  • Are a driven team player as well as can take own initiatives and work independently
  • Are fluent in English (Swedish not necessary)
