Job Description

In our Junior Fashion Designer roles, you will be:

  • Assisting the Senior Fashion Designers designing for one of our concepts within a specific product category in apparel, accessories, footwear, or home products.
  • Collaborating in a strong team which most often includes a Pattern Maker, Print Designer, Planner, Buyer, Product Developer and Business Controller.
  • Developing collections sold globally in all the H&M markets and Omni channels.
  • Researching, designing, technical sketching and assisting in fittings while handling the design part of sample follow-up.
  • Contributing with updated fashion insights for our target customers with your fresh ideas, energy and creativity.

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • You have a BA qualification in Fashion Design
  • You have 1-2 year’s industry experience as a Junior Designer/Assistant Designer with a commercial, global mindset and a genuine sense and passion for the latest fashion trends.
  • You have good knowledge of materials and trims and excellent illustration and drawing skills.
  • You are fluent and have fast skills in Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • You are fluent in English (Swedish is not necessary) and communicate with impact.
  • You are a strong collaborator and team player.
  • You enjoy fast-paced, ever-changing work and have the capacity to adapt to changes.
  • 3D Design for H&M Home product design is required

 

  • CLO 3D work experience is merited, but not required.

  • Include relevant Portfolio - including mood board and full fashion design process to final collections (max 10MB/uploading). Please ensure to include some work that is clearly relatable to the H&M target customer as well as commercial. 
  • Not include cover letters since we aim to mitigate any biases that may unintentionally implicate the recruitment process.
