Do you want to be key players in creating a new and disruptive global sports brand as Designers for H&M Mens Sport? We are now recruiting two Menswear designers for H&M SPORT head office in Stockholm. A Senior Designer for a 1-year temporary position and a Junior Designer to a permanent position.

As a Senior Designer you have the responsibility for designing and developing our strong dedicated standalone Mens Sport design collection.  As a Junior Designer you will assist the Senior Designer and contribute with designing and developing our collection. H&M Sport will run essentially as a start-up within the H&M Group and as such, both roles require a broad, entrepreneurial and very agile growth mindset. 

For both roles we look for highly driven, hands-on and self-motivated active sports wear designers with a tenacity to join us making this happen. You have a global, curious mindset and a genuine passion for sportswear. You are well-organized, love teamwork and have strong and clear communication skills. You enjoy taking ownership of your areas of responsibility and are flexible in your way of working. You are motivated by being part of building the Mens Sports collection, adapting as we develop and finding new ways of working in a creative and diverse environment

Senior Designer role

• Senior Designer experience from an aspirational fashion &/or sportswear design background
• A passion for sports- and/or fashion design demonstrating strong trend sensitivity
• Used to translating creative fashion vision into commercial products with clear customer focus
• High competence in collection building, color, material and silhouette
• Agile entrepreneurial mindset and adaptable to fast changes
• A flexible, positive and inspirational team player
• Leadership experience and a coaching mindset
• Excellent communication & presentations skills in English, written and verbal

Junior Designer role

• A minimum of a BA qualification in Fashion/Textile Design
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ work experience as a Junior Designer from fashion &/or sportswear
• Passion for sports and/or fashion design demonstrating strong trend sensitivity
• Used to translating creative fashion vision into commercial products with clear customer focus
• Strong skills in and used to work at high speed in Adobe Suite programs
• 3D CLO work experience is highly meriting
• Strong in design process, attention to detail, color, material, cut and silhouette
• Agile entrepreneurial mindset and adaptable to fast changes
• A flexible, positive and inspirational team player
• Excellent communication & presentations skills in English, written and verbal

The Senior design role is a 1-year temporary position and the Junior design role is permanent, both based in Stockholm reporting to the Section Head at H&M MENS SPORT.
