As Senior PR & Celebrity Specialist, you work with the Regional Communications & Marketing Manager, developing regional strategies to drive brand awareness, increase media coverage and engagement and grow brand affinity, in line with the Global and Regional objectives.​

 You follow Global COS initiatives and lead the implementation of the local US media & VIP plan in order to grow the brand community across all media channels, including VIP/Celeb relations.​

Job Description

  • Responsible for the coordination and implementation of PR and Celebrity strategies for the region​
  • Manage several projects from beginning to end with budget management responsibility​
  • Support marketing projects linked to PR and Celebrity work
  • Co-ordinate PR agencies and in-house showrooms in the management of media enquiries​
  • Report to the Regional Communications & Marketing Manager​
  • Evaluate and oversee the assessment of all PR Results and any agency performance with seasonal reports​, project recaps and competitor analysis
  • Manage the showroom; including but not limited to presentations, appointments, VIP seeding
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to leverage media opportunities, execute brand events and support larger brand partnerships 
  • Work closely with the Global Content & PR team on brand messaging, influencer partnerships, timelines and collection seeding​
  • Secure the information flow between external agencies, ensuring that all necessary press material is available when needed as well as secure strategic updates​
  • Communicate local PR & Marketing activities internally and secure that all relevant stakeholders are informed​
  • Liaise with relevant internal departments to share updates and reports​
  • Support the PR & Marketing Team in all relevant topics​; including branded media partnerships
  • Set the workflow for Regional PR sample co-ordination between Global PR & Marketing, Buying Team, agencies and showrooms​
  • Support and develop the annual Communications (PR & Marketing) strategy in line with business goals and secure the implementation
  • Support in providing feedback on global strategies and brand planning
  • Support in the execution of 360 brand campaigns and key selling moments in the commercial plan to drive brand awareness & engagement, new customer acquisition and traffic​
  • As a media and VIP expert, provide knowledge​ on market shifts and optimise media and VIP relations for the NA region to build the brand and gain media coverage​ that can extend globally
  • Identify, develop and execute VIP/Media strategies and creative campaigns regionally
  • Create reports and analyse around all PR & Marketing activities​
  • Plan, organise, and manage local brand events and press days ​including event logistics and PR strategies
  • Manage project budgets ​
  • Manage day to day work of the showroom and external partners & agencies across markets 
  • Provide global feedback on samples, trafficking and prioritisation of loans to optimize product coverage
  • Develop press releases, messaging​ and pitches
  • Support commercial & content planning for the region

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or equivalent years of work experience
  •  5 years’ experience In PR and Celebrity relations, Brand events and showroom management
  • Experience managing media partnerships and agencies
  • Proven experience of developing strategies abs leading brand projects
  • Good leadership skills and strong team player
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Able to think strategically and see the big picture while knowing how to execute it tactically
  • Strong understanding and passion for the COS brand
  • Ability to anticipate future actions that may be required
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines and budgets
  • Able to work both as a team and independently
  • Flexible to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to travel 20%, especially during busy seasons
