Job Description

As an Area Manager you are responsible for giving direction, lead and manage the business region to deliver a great customer experience and maximize selling and profitability, in line with company goals and brand direction.

 You will be responsible for:

  • Support, lead and manage the Area team and Store Managers to increase the overall profits in your area, ensuring that all employee relation responsibilities, legal requirements and H&M group policies are fulfilled
  • Follow up and analyze KPIs of the area and initiate actions to increase profit, balancing long and short-term planning together with the Area team. You ensure compliance with all safety & security, administration and legal procedures
  • Provide constructive guidance to Store Managers and the Area team, driving team performance
  • Actively work with talent & leadership development within the Area Team and Store Managers in order to support the business needs
  • Strengthen our Company Culture by promoting feedback in our daily work through distance leadership and coaching

Qualifications

  • You have solid experience, understanding and proven track record from working and driving sales results and profit, as well as delivering a great customer experience, within the H&M group
  • You have experience from a manager position and proven strong leadership skills, e.g. store manager / area manager position
  • You have a customer experience centric mindset with an ability to turn ideas into action and making it happen
  • You are a dreamer and doer; you can define a vision and implement it
  • You are goal oriented; you love setting ambitious goals and reaching them
  • You are autonomous and keep your colleagues accountable in order to reach the company goals
  • You are flexible to travel at least two to three days per week (post-covid 19)

This is a full-time temporary position for one year with a possible extension, with placement in Stockholm.
