Created in 2018, our Responsible AI & Data team works on a twofold mission: To use AI as a force for good to create sustainable growth and reach H&M Group’s sustainability goals, and to actively work to prevent causing any unintentional harm by our AI-driven business operations.

As a Stakeholder Engagement Lead you will work on creating a Responsible AI & Data culture program and be responsible for our internal and external stakeholder engagement and awareness-raising initiatives. You will also work closely with our Responsible AI & Data Specialists to create engaging content for internal training and knowledge dissemination. 

The position is both fun and challenging. You will be a key part of the Responsible AI & Data team and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with some of the best people in advanced analytics and AI, in addition to close collaboration with a variety of internal domain experts.

Job Description

Responsible AI & Data is a multi-disciplinary area, bridging the fields of machine learning and data science with law, psychology, human rights, ethics, and philosophy. You will be a core part of the growing Responsible AI & Data team that is leading H&M Group’s work in sustainable and ethical AI and data.  

Your work as a Stakeholder Engagement Lead is both strategic and operational, and directed towards internal as well as external stakeholders. Your focus areas will be:   

  • Overall responsibility for creating and implementing a stakeholder engagement strategy for Responsible AI & Data  

  • Drive our internal awareness-raising programs, training, and company-wide community engagement activities to create a Responsible AI & Data culture within the company 

  • Lead the work on external stakeholder engagement activities, including partnerships, outreach, and public engagement 

  • Create impactful communication material, such as presentations, newsletters and training modules and solutions 

  • Coordinate and organize different types of workshops and events

  • Be part of the strategic work of continuing to build the organisation for Responsible AI & Data   

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we believe you have a strong interest in shaping the future of sustainable and ethical AI and data. You are a tech-savvy and skilled communicator, fluent in English, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. You are excellent at building and nurturing networks and relationships.   

We also believe you have: 

  • An academic degree in engineering, communication, marketing, or other relevant field, and at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience within communication or stakeholder engagement  

  • Knowledge of machine learning, and a strong interest in social and ethical challenges related to AI and data in a business context 

  • Excellent project management skills as well as storytelling and visual communication skills 

  • Proven ability to synthesize complex information and present it in a creative, appealing, and engaging way 

Additional Information

This is a full-time position with placement in Stockholm. You will report to the Head of Responsible AI & Data.
