Job Description

We are now looking for a Product Developer that will work closely with our creative roles and several experts develop best product solutions applying value engineering for store interior, display and window props in a sustainable, durable, functional and cost effective way according to our set goals.

You are involved in all phases of a product development process. Constantly improving solutions and making sure we are working towards our goals. This role will be based in Stockholm and will have a close collaboration with different stakeholders in Stockholm as well as the development team in our Asian hub.

Your responsibilities

  • Translate creative ideas into material choice and technical solutions inline with the creative brief
  • Develop products together with our supplier base choosing the best construction, materials/finishes, and manufacturing processes to secure the best deal
  • Approve workshop samples and production counter samples according to the set requirements
  • Optimize and keep every stage in the development process as efficient as possible
  • Secure right quality with structured analysis and handover clear information to Quality team
  • 3D CAD modelling and creation of technical drawings when necessary
  • Rendering of 3D models when necessary
  • Contact with suppliers on a global market
  • Responsible for managing projects or part of projects according to briefs

Qualifications

Your background and skills

  • Min. bachelor’s degree of Technical Engineer and/or Industrial Design
  • Min. 3 years work experience within your graduation.
  • Expertise knowledge and experience around the development process from first idea to end of life.  
  • Knowledge and experience around several materials, surface treatments and production methods.
  • Sustainability knowledge in circular design and circular materials.
  • Experience from working in cross functional teams and projects.
  • Knowledge in 3D CAD and PLM systems.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to travel according to business needs.
