We are now looking for a product owner in our new organization Business Tech - in the product area AI Foundation, focusing on our enabling platform.

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner in our platform team. Our mission is to provide a tech foundation to accelerate the development of AI use-cases while ensuring reliable and high quality development. Within the group, there are countless ideas of use-cases, and models to try out so it is our responsibility to provide a way to iterate as fast as possible so we can unlock all the value hidden in our data. 

To do this, you will lead a multi-competence group of machine learning engineers, software engineers, cloud engineers in close collaboration with key stakeholders, always keeping customers at the heart of our focus. Together with the rest of the team, you will define the strategic vision and the product roadmap of our platform based on a deep understanding of the AI & cloud industry, insights & data on your customers, and input from stakeholders across the company.   

Working closely with the Product Area Manager and other Product Owners to ensure overall alignment, you will set objectives & key results that your product will drive toward. You will also identify, build, and manage strategic partnerships across products, working to manage dependencies.

Responsibilities 

• Design the future of our AI platform, some of the areas currently worked on: 

  • Infra automation for all cloud usage 
  • Model serving platform 
  • Model management platform 

  • Streaming system and feature store 

• Take end-to-end ownership of parts of the platform with ultimate accountability for stakeholder value delivered   

• Set ambitious and clear product mission and OKRs and translate these into a prioritized roadmap and team backlog that drive agreed KPIs  

• Lead a team of engineers to execute and deliver value  

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the developments in AI and cloud technologies 

• Define MVPs, manage product backlog priorities, and strategically de-scope to achieve rapid feedback cycles   

• Monitor and manage financial impact of decisions and priorities of the product team 

• Have a degree in business and/or engineering 

• At least 5 year’s work experience including hands-on as either: 

• Data scientist or engineer in advanced analytics and AI  

• Software engineer with cloud Technologies and infrastructure 

• Experience in leading an engineering team 

• Proven track record of delivering great results 

• Excellent communication skills  

• Highly analytical with attention to details 

• Strong in planning, prioritizing, execution, and follow up together with a “can-do attitude” 

• Motivated to work in an environment that allows you to work and take decisions independently 

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
