Job Description

Title: Omni Logistics Specialist

Function: Logistics

Department: Warehouse 

Reports to: Omni DC Manager

Direct Reports:  None 

Overall Job Function: Responsible for a well-functioning partnership with the 3PL logistics provider.  Ensures the system is maintained and monitored and collaborates with the 3PL logistics provider regarding the optimal way to run replenishment, allocation and online operations while meeting H&M requirements.  Monitors interface between systems and serves as both systems super user and liaison between operations and IT.   Recommends system enhancements based on operational need and manages system change including user acceptance testing and sign-off prior to change implementation.  Maximizes operational excellence, quality, and efficiency in a sustainable way for our customers, in all brands and channels.  

Job Responsibility including but not limited to: 
•    Manage information flow and departmental volume communication to 3PL
•    Maintains daily, weekly, and historical allocation/replenishment and online data/reports
•    Plans for all incoming freight by extracting data from SAP.  Responsible for creating weekly goal for incoming and picking. 
•    Monitors and analyzes 3PL performance KPI’s / SLA’s, providing reporting to Omni Operations Manager
•    Audits and follows up that best practice and working procedure are followed by 3PL logistics provider and maintained with high quality level
•    Ensures that 3PL is informed of H&M collection, campaigns, promotions, and any other projects to ensure product is delivered in a timely manner
•    Make business decisions in providing workload prioritization to 3PL
•    Partners with sales and merchandising team to get product to store for planned in store dates
•    Creates order release strategy to ensure high levels of customer service 
•    Serves as contact for logistics issues by communicating with sales team, central team, and any other cross functional departments
•    Identifies and alerts management promptly if problems arise
•    Acts as a liaison between operations team and US system superusers.
•    Able to escalate operational system issues and collaborate with US superusers to find resolutions.
•    Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment as well as making garment care a priority
•    Follow all legal requirements, H&M policies and procedures

Minimum Candidate Qualifications: 
•    High School graduate or equivalent
•    Minimum one to two years of management experience in a distribution center and/or store operations.
•    Preferably experience in distribution center operations in a high volume and high SKU environment.
•    Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Logistics or related fields is preferred  
•    1-2 years’ of WMS experience, in SAP, is preferred
