Within the new Business Unit called H&M Lifestyle Brands, we are building and developing the new brand H&M Beauty, which will apply the strong heritage of H&M to the Beauty industry. This will unlock hidden opportunities for growth and will add excitement and energy to our current offer. We are now looking for a Social Media manager that will play an important role in the marketing department of the H&M Beauty brand.

Job Description

As our Social Media Manager, you will have responsibility for running, developing and extending our social media channels. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and execute social media strategies with the objective of growing channels, engagement and ultimately drive new sales for the business
     
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, sales and buying for content and campaign development that align with overall brand goals
     
  • Optimize and establish best practice for H&M Beauty on each platform
     
  • Responsible for planning engaging content in our channels
     
  • Drive our paid social campaigns together with our agency
     
  • Measure and analyze impact of social media initiatives on various KPIs, including channel growth, impressions, engagements, referral traffic and conversions to learn and improve
     
  • Be up to date with the evolving landscape and bring forth ideas to stay competitive within social media

Qualifications

You have proven experience as a social media manager or similar, and have experience in building and nurturing fast growing social communities, preferably within retail. You know how to optimize each social channel and can drive and optimize strategy and messaging to effectively engage the audience. You love analyzing performance and have a drive to be up to date with the latest social media trends. You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit with drive and good interpersonal skills. We are a small organization and you can work high and low with the objective to grow with us as a brand.

Your skills also include:

  • Well documented experience (3+ years) of working with social media, developing and managing strategies to grow social media audiences and ultimately drive new sales for the business at an agency or in-house team
     
  • Ability to drive our social media channels both when it comes to content, interaction with our community, development and ways of working with other functions in our organization
     
  • A proven capacity to manage engaging content for key social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube etc.
     
  • Ability and experience in working with CMS and social media analytics tools and to develop marketing strategies based on findings
     
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
     
  • Genuine interest in the beauty industry
     
  • Highly motivated problem-solver and a self-starter; capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within a fast-paced environment
