Job Description

A Digital Product Manager at H&M group is a visionary leader who guides new product ideas from an initial concept to product launch and assures full benefit realization. Along the way, we collaborate with world class engineers and designers to maximize each product’s impact on the world. As a Product Manager, you are expected to show strong customer empathy and have a deep business understanding as well as strong appreciation for technology. You will be leading a cross competent Global product team that works to improve the H&M groups digital experiences across different brands and different platforms. Leadership and communicative skills are essential to be successful in the role.

About Store Digital Layer Product:

We are looking for a leader to build our ‘Store digital layer’ team. By utilizing digital features and customers own devices, we have the chance to guide and inspire customers in physical stores to find product they love. You will be part of building this new team from the ground up and set agenda for the intersection between stores, digital and assortment. The work is done in close collaboration with other product teams and retail space departments. We have a high focus on conversion-rate-optimization and a high innovation ambition.

Job Responsibility including but not limited to:

  • Set an ambitious and clear product vision and communicate it effectively to key stakeholders and the product team
  • Understand and contribute to the end-to-end team output strategy from inception to production
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure digital vision and products align within product strategy and requirements
  • Responsible for product specific KPIs once solution enters production and communicate regular tracking to stakeholders
  • Responsible for leading the Product Team while delivering exceptional customer and business results
  • Own and maintain the backlog while prioritizing the day to day work of the product team based on the given targets and KPIs
  • Align with other Product Owners to ensure interfaces to other Products and common KPIs are maintained
  • Understand the financial impact of Team and Product related decisions
  • Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for their product  
  • Work closely with Product Design to Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer driven design

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering/business/economics or equivalent relevant for the position
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner (or equivalent role) with outcome responsibility at growth-stage or enterprise company
  • Experience leading a cross-functional team
  • Functional knowledge of Lean-Agile Development and methodologies as well as Product Vision Creation and Product Roadmap Development
  • Strong familiarity with Rapid Prototyping, Value Preposition Definition and OKR methodologies
  • Ability to build end-to-end product strategy, including definition of scope, roadmap, and KPIs and understand product development from ideation to release
  • Experience leading a cross-functional development team to achieve the common mission, prioritizing work and inspiring the team to improve
  • Proficiency with integrating qualitative and quantitative research, product analysis and customer insights into product requirements 
  • Ability to own and articulate end-to-end product requirements across product teams
  • Capable of gathering, analyzing and understanding customer and business needs and understand impact against product backlog and impact on team
  • Able to clearly express the connections between larger business goals and small backlog items for team members
  • Ability to influence decision makers and manage stakeholders to achieve the Product mission
