Here at COS we are looking for experienced managers to join our future opportunities group. By joining the group, you will be the first to know when a new store/floor manager role becomes available in your area.

About the role

Although every single day will be different some of the things that our managers do regularly include;

• Offering our customers a high level of service; starting conversations with them and helping them build create outfits
• Taking responsibility of the store sales performance and running it as if it were your own business.
• Leading and motivating a team of managers, visual merchandisers and sales assistants to achieve excellent standards of service
• Leading recruitment events and taking care to ensure all new colleagues are made to feel welcome and are well-trained.
• Identifying future talents and putting together development plans to support their progression
• Overseeing store operations to create a smooth an enjoyable customer experience
• Creating a great place to work

To be a member of the group we look for some previous management experience plus each of the qualities below.

• 1 year working as a floor manager or in another similar role
• The ability to lead a team
• Customer focused
• Self-motivated
• A positive attitude
• Supportive of others  
• Warmth, confidence, and adaptability
• A genuine interest in others
• Open to learn about and sell our products
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent commercial abilities
