Job Description

The H&M Menswear Contemporary Street Concept is looking for a Junior Designer, who will be responsible for assisting the Senior Designer working with woven products. Together with the rest of the team, you will be involved in developing the collections sold worldwide in all the H&M markets and omni channels. You will contribute with updated fashion insights for our target customer with your fresh ideas, energy, creativity and fully global perspective. High pace and rapid changes are a natural part of our day. We think you are a quick learner with good communication skills, and a flexible attitude with capacity to adapt to changes, is essential.

We believe you have a genuine passion for menswear both from a commercial and aspirational standpoint. The product groups include, but are not limited to, shirts, trousers and shorts.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a BA qualification in Fashion/Textile Design
  • 1-2 years work experience as a Junior Designer
  • CLO 3D proficiency is required
  • Strong skills in in Adobe Suite programs
  • Attention to detail and high knowledge of textile materials
  • Good skills in patternmaking, tailoring and cut
  • A visionary mindset with true passion for mens street fashion, current and future trends
  • A strong customer focus and commercial mindset
  • Strong communication skills and a true team player
  • A highly organized and structured work routine
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced and everchanging work environment
  • A strong self drive and able to take own initiatives
