If so, we are now looking for a Copywriter to join Weekday’s exciting journey ahead!

WHAT YOU DO

As a Copywriter at Weekday you will take a creative as well as a strategic approach to assigned projects, and your work will be key in defining the brand tone of voice. You will work on communication strategies and brand messages as well as create final copy for a various set of communication channels, from press releases, in-store communication, to newsletters and creative campaigns. You will frame how we communicate and engage with our customer, both in our always-on content as well as in more challenging times.

Job Description

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and execute copy creation and projects from creative idea to final deliverables
  • Constant develop and ensure tonality in communication for assigned task and projects
  • Develop guidelines and brand tonality
  • Collaborating with other creatives within your team and department as well as stakeholders across the organization
  • Keeping yourself updated on customer behavior, communication trends and the fashion industry

Qualifications

Personal Competences and Qualities:

  • 5+ years of copywriting experience
  • Education within copywriting, journalism, creative writing or similar
  • Full proficiency in English – written and verbal
  • Experience and knowledge of copy in different communication channels
  • Big interest in fashion, retail and digital marketing

You are up to date on what´s going on in the world, in fashion and what is new within the digital media landscape. You are a curious person who is not afraid to take initiatives and you have a strong eye for details. We also see that you are a great team player with the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders, whilst at the same time being able to set and execute the copywriting agenda and strategy in your team and projects.

ABOUT THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

This is a permanent position starting in spring 2021, based at Weekday’s Head Office in Stockholm, Sweden. You will be reporting to Marcella Mravec, Head of Content Studio.
