Do you want to be a key player in being part of developing the Ladies Swimwear department? Are you a creative, experienced Junior Designer currently looking for a new exciting challenge? If so, then Junior Designer - Swimwear might be something for you!

As a Junior Designer you will be responsible for assisting the Swimwear Product Designer. We are looking for a talented individual with a passion for women's fashion & trends. You will be doing technical sketching, designing women's swimwear multi product categories, assist in fittings and handle the design part of sample follow up. Together with the rest of the team, you will assist in developing the collections sold worldwide in all the H&M markets' omni channels. This requires an energetic spirit, strong independent drive, creativity and being a catalyst for new perspectives as we are advancing our dept.

Qualifications

We look for you who:

  • Are creative with a genuine passion for women's fashion trends from an aspirational standpoint yet with a strong commercial eye.
  • Have a BA in Fashion Design or minimum 2 yrs work experience as a Junior Designer, experience from lingerie or/and swimwear is meriting
  • Have a very strong eye for details as well as overall collection building
  • Have knowledge of pattern making, sewing and jersey materials
  • Are skilled and fast in Adobe Suite programs
  • Have a strong salesmanship and are result/goal oriented
  • Enjoy teamwork and have very good communication skills
  • Are very driven and used to take own initiatives and can work independently
  • Like a fast-paced work environment and willing to give it all in our high season
  • Are fluent in English

About the recruitment process

This is a full time permanent position, based in Stockholm, to start asap and you will report to the Section Head.
