H&M’s new business organization – Business Tech is looking for a Product Owner for our product team where our focus area is finance and controlling development. A lot of exciting things are happening in our area and we are growing with speed throughout 2021. Be part of our growth journey!

About the role 

In the Colleague and Corporate Support domain you will be part of our Product Area “Finance and Corporate support functions”, responsible for operations and development of technological solutions for the entire group independent of channel or brand. Our Product teams are often part of a larger value chain and cross collaboration with other product teams and product areas is essential to succeed.

As Product Owner you, in collaboration with your team, create the product roadmap and have a very good understanding of the business needs within accounting. To succeed you need to build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the team’s effort is aligned with overall strategy. You will play an important role in ensuring that we always strive to do business in a meaningful way by providing, easy, efficient and sustainable digital solutions.

We are on an agile transformation journey where we must implement new agile way of working with our partners, which you will lead. We are on a journey together which means there is no clear path.

Responsibilities  

• Take end-to-end ownership of the product (full lifecycle from ideation to optimization) with ultimate accountability for business and customer value delivered 
• Work closely with stakeholders at HM Group and Business Tech
• Lead a team including business experts, software engineers and data analysts to execute and deliver value 
• Set ambitious and clear product mission and OKRs and translate these into a prioritized roadmap and team backlog that drive agreed KPIs 
• Define MVPs, manage product backlog priorities, and strategically de-scope to achieve rapid feedback cycles
• Drive development as well as operation to target state by co-creating with other product teams in the sales process and business development initiatives
• Set a budget and follow up costs for product team and strategic suppliers.  
• Monitor and manage financial impact of decisions and priorities of the product team, including Business case creations for further growth opportunities 
• Negotiating contracts/agreements with suppliers

Requirements – We are looking for you

That are a curious leader focused on value creation, growth and serving customers with full ownership and accountability. You can gather, analyze and understand customer and business needs and understand impact against product backlog and impact on team.  

You have skills such as-

• Good understanding of Accounting
• SAP Finance and/or other modules in SAP such as SD (advantage)
• Previous experience of working as Product Owner/Product Manager.
• 5+ years of leadership (advantage if in business development)
• Good stakeholder management and clear communication skills.
• Strong in planning, prioritizing, execution, and follow up together with a “can-do attitude”
• High energy and passion for Sales and Accounting.
• Able to work at all levels of the organization as well as part of virtual teams.

Location: Stockholm. Although many of us are working from home, we still need a person who is available to work in Stockholm and can come to office when needed.
