Job Description

Do you enjoy writing creative copy? Are you a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment? Are you a brand storyteller with a commercial mindset?

If so,  this could be the role for you. We are now looking for a Copywriter to join our Brand & Communication team. 

This role will report into the Global Content Manager and is offered on a temporary full time 1 year contract. 

As Copywriter you will have a thorough understanding of the brand to both inspire and inform through our marketing communication. You will work as part of the COS Marketing team to ensure that our tone of voice is effectively communicated in an inspiring way.  You will formulate copy for all touch points, including in-store, digital and printed communication such as newsletters and long-form editorial copy. for the COS magazine.  You will have a commercial mindset and a great understanding of the COS brand and our values. 

What you will do:

  • Writes for the COS brand across all customer touchpoints: newsletters, social media, website, SEO, printed collateral, digital advertising, stores, windows and event collateral. 
  • Acts as a brand guardian for the COS tone of voice. 
  • Writes inspiring editorial copy and develops ideas. 
  • Takes a commercial, sales-driven approach and considers customer mindset seasonally and regionally.
  • Leads the development of brand communications, acting as a resource across the team.


 

Qualifications

  • Previous experience at writing for fashion brands and similar retailers in-house, or for fashion, design or arts publications.
  • A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment and able to work towards deadlines.
  • Excellent written English.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A team player, that enjoys working towards constant improvement, flexible to changing business needs.
