Job Description

If so,  this could be the role for you. We are now looking for an Art Director to join our Brand & Communications-Creative Studio team. This role will report into the Head of Art Direction and is offered on a full time, permanent contract.

As the Art Director, you will deliver the COS visual language and aesthetics for all brand imagery and 360 campaigns. ​In this role, you align creative direction with business objectives and contribute with creative solutions to inspire the COS customer and community.

What you will do

  • You will be responsible for the visual identity of COS to drive brand awareness, perception, traffic, and revenue online and in-store​
  • Optimise studio imagery online to enhance brand experience and drive conversion
  • Oversee art direction and edits of studio imagery working with Studio Production to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with the Content Team to optimise shoots by considering unique / additional content for each digital channel
  • Provide input on image and brand direction to Global and Regional Creative Teams within the business, including Digital Design, Graphics, Art Working, Studio Production, Online Customer Experience and Content Teams​
  • Create and execute end-to-end 360 image campaigns, from creative concept to postproduction, overseeing every step of the process​
  • Research and present trends, photographers, stylists and other external creative partners
  • Present creative decks and mood boards to communicate ideas
  • Execute the COS aesthetics and visual language to everything the brand communicates
  • Oversee art direction of brand tools and materials, as well as seasonal framework​
  • Direct image guidelines for all outputs across every touch point​
  • Give input on Global/Regional/Digital/physical channel-specific content and imagery, whether it is for community, brand building, or driving selling​
  • Grow creative partners and casting networks and seek new talent, keeping in line with the brands I&D values and the company mission​

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as Art Director within fashion and retail
  • Expert-level proficiency user of Adobe InDesign Photoshop & Bridge
  • Experience in creating visuals for digital and social implementations, 360 campaigns, special projects, for organic and paid media channels
  • Proficiency in design, retouching, video and motion is a plus
  • Ability to drive and own development of ideas based on consumer insights, and deliver meaningful business results
  • Genuine interest in and understanding of the COS brand and business, both visually and commercially
  • Strong communicator with outstanding presentation skills
