Administrator - Hazlemere Lodge Care Home £18,089+ 22 days annual leave – increases with service

About us:

Heritage Care is a charitable organisation that provides a range of flexible individualised care and support services for people with learning disabilities, mental health support needs and older people.

Our services include supported living, domiciliary care, housing & care (extra care) schemes, care homes, day services and respite/short breaks. We support over 1,000 people each day and employ around 1,500 staff across more than 120 locations within the following areas: Buckinghamshire, Derbyshire, Gloucestershire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, London Boroughs (9), Norfolk, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Suffolk, West Midlands, West Sussex and Worcestershire.

Hazlemere Lodge is a purpose-built care home for 64 older people which offer’s personalised care, tailored to an individual’s specific needs including dementia, nursing & palliative care and respite breaks.

The role:

To provide a full administrative service to the Scheme Manager, including the collating and processing of all documentation relating to finance, payroll and personnel as well as filing and maintenance of appropriate admin systems.

Your duties will include:

·Be a first point of contact with relatives and visitors to the home

·Liaising with and supporting the Scheme Manager

·Financial administration including petty cash and service user’s personal money records.

·Collating timesheets, leave, sickness and flexi time records for payroll

·Prepare and maintain stock and stationery orders

·Update residents’ information, including care plans, and to access and update other home data

Desired Skills & Experiences:

This role will suit someone who is keen on being a part of a busy care home.You will be handling confidential and personal information in line with GDPR so a basic understanding of this would be ideal however we will provide training.In addition to this we would love to have someone who has the following skills:

·Ability to work with vulnerable older people

·Approachable nature, able to respect the choice, dignity and rights of individuals

·General administration and office experience

·Excellent communicator both verbally and written

·Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

·Team player

·Excellent organisational skills

·Able to multitask and work on various projects

·Able to handle sensitive and confidential information

·A self-starter and able to work autonomously

Would suit a car driver with use of a vehicle.
