Job Description

The purpose of this role is to partner with people leaders to support and drive successful ways to acquire, enable, grow and retain employees.

We’ll look to you to create and develop fit for purpose people practices and employee experiences. You’ll do this by partnering with managers to enable them with timely, current and contextualised advice, guidance and tools to manage employees and lead their teams. You’ll drive high levels of employee engagement and loyalty by championing first-rate experiences.

You’ll be part of a dynamic and high-energy team that shares your people passion and drive to make a difference. You’ll collaborate with smart, interesting people who will challenge you to be better and expect you to return the favour.

(Some) of your responsibilities

  • Maintain current, relevant and lawful people operations knowledge to ensure compliance to state and federal employment laws and standards.
  • Manage any legal or reputational risk through the provision of timely advice and guidance.
  • Manage all people matters in a sensitive and professional manner.
  • Ensure the execution of people work happens in a timely manner.
  • Provide useful data to help guide decision making, and allow the company to scale effectively and efficiently.
  • Synthesise ideas and evidence into proposals and recommendations for operationalisation; testing and iterating as required.
  • Be able to communicate at all levels in the company and to support business development and change.
  • Design and execute programs/initiatives in partnership with other People Team members.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in an HR Generalist, Business Partnering or Operations role
  • Experience within a comparable, high growth environment, product or tech company
  • Exceptional consulting, coaching and influencing skills
  • Competency in creating and delivering learning, development and training programs
  • Competency and savviness with HR systems and technologies
  • Degree in Human Resources, or a related field
