Job Description

Powercat Sports Grill is immediately hiring a Kitchen Supervisor who will multi-task in a fast-paced, open kitchen environment to uphold presentation standards, food quality and cleanliness of the kitchen. The ideal Kitchen Supervisor has full service cooking experience, is a respectful team player and quick learner who displays reliability and supports all team members. The Kitchen Supervisor will coach and develop kitchen team members and maintain a safe, productive work environment.

    What you'll do:

    • Prepare and plate food with pride and according to brand standards
    • Adhere to all food safety guidelines, clean as you go
    • Cooking menu items in cooperation and unison with rest of kitchen team
    • Commitment to cooking consistently and with a sense of urgency
    • General kitchen duties assigned by Management Team
    • Ensure the set up, stocking and sanitization of all work stations

    Qualifications

    • Leadership and coaching skills
    • Current full service kitchen experience
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Ability to safely prepare all menu items after training
    • Able to work urgently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness 
    • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 pounds
    • Ability to communicate with others and follow directions from managers
