Job Description

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Full-Time Cook to join our culinary team in Parramatta, Australia. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals, maintaining food quality standards, and contributing to an efficient and collaborative work environment.

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during service
  • Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
  • Adapt to changing menu items and seasonal ingredients
  • Assist in developing new menu items and improving existing recipes
  • Respond promptly to customer feedback and special dietary requests
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment

Qualifications

  • Culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • Food safety certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Team player with strong communication abilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential
  • Open to coaching, eager to learn, and ready to put in the effort
  • "Can do" attitude and reliability
  • Passion for food and customer satisfaction
