    Job Description

    • Develop and execute fully integrated and multi-channel marketing programs that bring together full funnel social media, content, digital, PR, influencer marketing, community, partnerships, designed to build brand affinity among target consumers and drive commercial goals in the Canadian marketplace.
    • Work as an integrated partner across global marketing and cross-functional teams, developing positive relationships to achieve goals.
    • Create a comprehensive media plan to boost brand image, increase customer engagement and improve conversions.
    • Plan, design, implement and monitor social media marketing campaigns.
    • Create and manage social media content strategy.
    • Monitor social media trends, including developments in design, applications, strategy and innovation to stay relevant and effective. 
    • Design, implement and manage social ad campaigns integrated into the company’s strategic marketing plans. 
    • Evaluate, refine and support Community building programming that builds upon the global strategic framework and deepens the connection with Canadians
    • Oversee the development of paid marketing programs.
    • Build and develop a team of exceptional marketers.

    Qualifications

    At GURU we hire for personality first combined with experience and expertise.

    • 10+ years of direct work experience in a marketing management capacity
    • University degree in Business, Communications or Marketing
    • At least 5 years experience in content and social media strategy building and implementation
    • Proven success in transforming content and social media
    • Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms, their unique audiences and how to use them to maximize branding and marketing efforts
    • Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines
    • Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable
    • Regularly provides others with helpful guidance, advice, and tips on their performance and professional development
