Guidance seeks an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Technical Lead with Commerce Connector experience to design and develop award winning web applications for global brands and branded manufacturers. You will work with project managers, developers, QA professionals and client teams to deliver the very best in ecommerce.

This role reports to the SVP of Technology.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with client teams, including C-level and VP level management
• Lead multiple, concurrent, ecommerce development teams, including offshore developers
• Ensure quality control processes are successfully employed
• Manage environments and release quality solutions by setting up proper deployment pipelines.
• Estimate new project timelines, cost, and resource needs
• Communicate progress, timeline, and deliverables to client stakeholders
• Write Technical Approach Documents
• Work with project managers and developer teams to ensure solutions are delivered timely and on budget
• Integrate highly customized third-party solutions using a range of commerce technologies
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting and solutioning through high priority production issues

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent; MS CS or Engineering preferred
• Deep, technical knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager Sites and Assets (experience with other frameworks such as Shopify, Big Commerce, EPiServer is a plus)
• Experience with AEM Commerce Connector, Multi-Site Manager, and Internationalization
• Experience with Digital River ecommerce solutions preferred
• Experience using Java/Spring, Sightly/HTL
• Demonstrated experience in leading hybrid on- and off-shore teams
• Ability to be hands on, when needed
• Skilled at problem solving and troubleshooting
• Client-facing with strong communication skills, including telephone and in-person presentations 
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Consultative in nature, and enjoy working on multiple projects at one time
