Job Description

Guidance seeks a VP of Growth Marketing to drive our growth efforts, including setting strategy, executing, and measuring results. You’ll collaborate with our executives to lead customer acquisition, adoption, retention, and re-activation across both paid and organic channels. We are looking for an esteemed marketing professional to generate quality leads and facilitate communication internally.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategy and execution for the growth marketing function from end-to-end, including setting goals, managing a budget and prioritizing initiatives

  • Run experiments and provide data-driven, analytically rigorous insights to test different channels and iterate on our marketing strategy

  • Execute across multiple marketing channels, including email campaigns, LinkedIn, referrals,  performance channels, organic, content, and others

  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to improve conversion across the funnel

  • Find clever, creative ways to grow our customer base

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies as needed (Hubspot, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Experience with marketing CRM systems such as Hubspot or Salesforce

  • Manage, and lead a team of high-performing growth marketers.

  • Lead, mentor, recruit, and develop a diverse and effective inside sales team focused on Guidance’s target customer segments (with emphasis on custom dev projects)

  • Analyze market trends and plan outreach strategies accordingly

  • Create clear team and individual objectives to reach both sales and company goals

  • Drive a high performance environment to ensure continued velocity and hunger for sales and growth across the team

  • Ensure metrics and incentives drive the desired focus and behavior

  • Consistently monitor sales activity and own forecasting and pipeline quality metrics to track results

  • Provide support and guidance to direct reports by participating in and leading prospecting calls

  • Coach SDRs on Inside Sales best practices, services and company vision

  • Work with Marketing to maintain and improve pitchbooks; partner to build a strong pipeline of leads which are targeted and scored appropriately

  • Understand U.S. landscape and trends within B2C and B2B, and provide feedback to the Delivery and Sales teams on potential services and solutions

  • Present updates and progress company-wide to engage employees in overall growth mission

  • Present weekly at Management Meeting on actual sales and sales leads, forecasting and results

Qualifications

  • You previously built and successfully executed a growth marketing playbook for a B2B agency

  • Minimum 7+ years of sales experience, ideally in similar industry 

  • Agency and B2B process experience 

  • Ability to recruit, hire and enable world class inside sales representatives

  • Strong analytical skills with mastery of today’s widely used CRM systems

  • You  have helped other organizations scale and grow in fast moving environments

  • Proven track record of driving discipline and rigor in the sales process, including holding teams accountable for CRM data entry and maintenance to enable accurate pipeline and metrics reporting and exceeding sales targets

  • Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills

  • Superior negotiation skills

  • Experience selling complex services and solutions

  • You require little oversight and can make thoughtful decisions

  • You are honest and demonstrate high integrity
