Seeking full and part time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for a 285 bed Long-Term Care Facility located in Wilmore, KY.

This is a floor position in a Long-Term Care Facility.

Pay Rate:  $24/hr weekday and $25/hr weekend

Shifts Available:  3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am, 6pm-7a

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide aspects of direct care in which competency has been validated to administer medication, implement specific aspects of nursing care, such as providing care for ill injured or infirmed.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, patient teaching as directed.
• Serve on committees, assist with activities, daily living, and other functions as assigned by the registered nurse.
• Supervise licensed practical nurse applicants and unlicensed assistive personnel in the performance of patient care activities.
• Participate as a member of patient’s individual treatment team.
• Consult with registered nurse or physician on situations beyond his/her education.
• Accept and account for drugs and related paraphernalia.
• Schedule patients’ activities/appointments.
• Communicate with patient’s family members.
• Perform simple maintenance of medical treatment equipment.

• Active LPN License on the Kentucky Board of Nursing in good standing
• Pass KARES and AOC Criminal Background Check
• Current CPR
• Current PPD/Chest x-ray.
•  Drug Test.
