Job Description

The Digital Sr. Manager will be responsible for developing and executing new approaches to digital marketing in healthcare, focusing media plan development and optimization. You will have the opportunity to guide digital engagement, promotion & content strategy that supports the development and commercialization of the early cancer detection SHIELD portfolio. You will work in an exciting, highly dynamic and fast paced growing organization, with an opportunity to learn and grow. The Shield team’s singular focus on bringing our early cancer screening products to market allows us to act with the speed and urgency needed to achieve our ambitious goals and serve the millions of individuals who can benefit from early cancer detection. 

This role is a unique opportunity to use an experimental mindset coupled with your digital toolkit to drive the growth of a technology that is poised to change the lives of patients.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Raise Shield’s brand awareness through impactful digital media initiatives across platforms such as YouTube, TradeDesk, CTV, OLV, and social media.
  • Shape and implement the digital strategy to achieve awareness, leads, and volume goals.
  • Optimize the digital media plan, focusing on channel spend efficiency to maximize brand awareness and conversions.
  • Manage online media buying and traffic fulfillment strategies, including CPM, CPC, and CPV campaigns.
  • Conduct regular A/B tests and improve campaign performance based on data-driven insights.
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance using key metrics and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Develop and manage customer engagement programs to drive routine ordering and referrals.
  • Implement creative content strategies, leveraging formats like interactive infographics, podcasts, and user-generated campaigns.
  • Support CRM and marketing automation strategies with optimized content to increase customer conversion and engagement.
  • Optimize dashboards for tracking and improving SEM/SEO, website engagement, media conversion, and leads in collaboration with the analytics team.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on data analysis. 

 

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in advertising and media, with expertise in media operations and campaign management.
  • Hands-on experience with tagging, trafficking, QA, launching, and managing media campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Preferred experience in a media agency setting, focusing on strategy, buying, and operations.
  • Proven success in managing and optimizing professional and consumer media programs across channels (e.g., video, CTV, SEM, programmatic, social media).
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM, marketing automation platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Strong writing and creative thinking skills, capable of simplifying complex ideas.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM platforms, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience in implementing effective SEO/SEM strategies with measurable results.
  • Healthcare or regulated industry marketing experience is a plus, especially with compliance and data privacy considerations.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Education: 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Communications, English) 

Additional Information

Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $172,000 to $232,000. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations for the posted role with the exception of any locations specifically referenced below (if any).

For positions based in Palo Alto, CA or Redwood City, CA, the base salary range for this full-time position is $116,000 to $156,600. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
