Job Description

Guardant Health is looking for a Sr Manager of Talent Attraction to lead and develop Sourcing and Talent Brand at scale. You will guide a centralized team of sourcers, aligned to our hiring priorities. You will develop scalable recruiting strategies that enable you to support a team that delivers high quality talent for our business, including talent mappings for a pipeline of diverse talent, passive/outbound recruiting techniques and social media channels to attract and engage potential candidates. This position will align our hiring goals and addressable talent pools with strategic recruitment programs, events, targeted campaigns & social media strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager of Talent Attraction will deliver the best outcomes for the following:

  • Team Leadership - Is a strong talent manager; helps direct reports realize their strengths and coaches/teaches them in utilizing such strengths to achieve exceptional performance and be the best of class recruitment team.
  • Operational Performance – Operates a robust system for benchmarking, goal setting, and measuring/driving recruiting outcomes.
  • Demonstrate Self Awareness – Use a combination of data, feedback and reflection to gain productive insights to grow and develop oneself and team
  • Sourcing – Develops, executes, and effectively communicates high volume recruitment strategies; drives hiring excellence, process standardization, and strategic initiatives.
  • Strategic Mindset – Imagines possibilities and translates to multi-year strategies, and understand the latest, modern sourcing strategies
  • Employer Branding – Implement a clearly defined, authentic, and compelling employer brand that is consistently communicated across job boards and social media platforms.
  • Pipeline Development – Manage the development of proactive pipelines for key talent segments, especially mission-critical roles supporting our growth.
  • Continuous Improvement – Developed improvement strategies for execution through data, historical performance, and reviews of recruiting processes ensuring continuous improvement against key recruiting outcomes; leverage data and market insights to provide meaningful outcomes to our (internal) clients.
  • Talent Advisor -Partner with key stakeholders (Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and Recruiting Managers) to determine future talent needs and appropriate sourcing strategies; this requires a deep understanding through extensive market research of the channels where we can find the best, diverse talent who fit our business, technical and add to our culture.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Recruiting Leadership – 5-7 years of experience building and leading talent acquisition teams that consistently perform.
  • Data-Driven Mindset – Demonstrated experience leveraging data from varying sources to drive insight and predict function performance.
  • Digital/Technology-Driven Experience – Demonstrated experience in developing sourcing strategies and brand campaigns to build pipelines of talent.
  • Communication - Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals to engage employees and leaders across the organization
  • Organization - Project management and analytical expertise
  • Thought Leadership - You're the kind of person who thinks about things just plain different, "Because this is the way we've always done it" isn't in your vocabulary

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Diversity & Inclusion/community-based nurturing and attraction strategies
  • Recruiting/hiring experience within college, experienced or executive levels
  • Experience with Smart Recruiters, LinkedIn, and HireEZ

Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
