Job Description

As Director, Software Product Management, you will lead the design of our healthcare providers and patients’ services to deliver best-in-class customer experience in support of our cancer screening tests. You’ll conceive an integrated multi-channel customer engagement model, based on the right mix of digital services (primarily) and human nudges.

Your results will be a smooth customer journey through all cancer screening steps. You’ll impact user satisfaction, cancer test adoption and adherence rate in a way visible in national public health metrics.

 

You have solid expertise in portal development, digital engagement with well-timed messages and relevant personalized content, SMS marketing, UX/UI for healthcare providers, telehealth.

You love engaging with customers (physicians, patients) to understand their unmet needs and translate them into requirements. You know how to drive the software development team to deliver at their best.

 

You are recognized as a thought leader in digital strategy by your peers. Essential Responsibilities:

●       Lead the ideation and development of our next generation and integrated customer engagement, designed towards primary care providers and patients

●       Develop a multi-year strategy, translate it into a development roadmap, get internal buy-in, oversee its development, structure and analyze customer feedback to iterate until perfection

●       Develop value through customer experience

●       Be the internal expert in customer engagement

 

Qualifications/Experience:

●       8+ years of experience in software product management in an Agile environment for healthcare or health information technology

●       Recognized expert in portal development, digital engagement, SMS marketing, chatbot, CX, usability testing, human centered design, UX/UI for healthcare providers

●       Expertise in healthcare apps, telehealth, healthcare data interoperability

●       Experience developing digital services for healthcare providers

●       Prior experience working with primary care physicians, GIs and/or OBGYNs is a plus

●       Understanding of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies

●       Ability to gather and write high quality functional and non-functional requirements for software development

●       Ability to contribute to software architecture and technical design

●       Ability to understand and describe technical complexities in a simplified way appropriate to different audiences

●       Experience prioritizing product roadmaps for software engineering

●       Experience working directly with engineering development and QA teams as a product owner

●       Familiarity with systems integration technologies including REST web services, HL7, FHIR, and JSON

●       Familiarity with Laboratory Software, Laboratory processes, and workflows

●       Communicate effectively with stakeholders incl. senior leadership, efficiently influence without direct authority, ability to manage across broad number of tasks

●       Strong analytical thinker, problem-solver, creates a culture of collaboration and teamwork, facilitate discussions of complex ideas

●       Familiar with start-up working environment, self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity

●       Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

●       The position is based in Palo Alto, California
