The Opportunity
Grimco - a 150-year-old, $1.5 billion signage distributor - is looking for an experienced sales professional to own and grow the Pacific Zone for our Manufactured Products Division. This isn't a "hunter" role starting from scratch. You'll inherit an established customer base with significant upside potential, selling mission-critical products (traffic signs, reflective sheeting, aluminum substrates) that many industries rely on to operate.
Territory: CA, OR, WA, NV, AZ, UT, ID, MT, WY
Compensation: Competitive base salary + uncapped commission. Six-figure earning potential for proven performers. OTE- $80,000+ (salary and commission structure)

What You'll Do
- Drive revenue across the Pacific Zone through strategic account management and new business development
- Build relationships with sign fabricators, traffic contractors, municipalities, state DOTs, and commercial accounts
- Travel your territory (~50%) for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events
- Be the expert on traffic signage products, reflective sheeting, and regulatory requirements
- Own your pipeline - forecast accurately, manage CRM, close deals
Qualifications
What You Bring
Required:
- 3+ years outside sales experience (preferably in industrial, construction materials, or municipal/government sales)
- Track record of consistently hitting or exceeding quota
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently across a large territory
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively
- Must reside in Pacific Zone (California preferred)
Bonus Points:
- 5+ years outside sales experience
- Experience in regulated industries (traffic control, construction, DOT contracting)
- Familiarity with the signage or traffic safety industry
- Existing relationships with fabricators, contractors, or municipal buyers in the West
