About the Opportunity 

The Schools Engagement and Pathways Administration Officer supports the Senior Future Students Manager and the Future Students team more broadly. Under general direction, this position is responsible for providing high-quality administrative and operational support for the team’s school engagement activities, student ambassador program, campus visits, events and associated business processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end administration of student ambassador engagements, including recruitment and engagement activities, onboarding requirements, access arrangements and maintenance of casual student ambassador profiles.
  • Coordinate administrative and logistical support for school engagement activities, including but not limited to; campus visits, tours, presentations, room bookings, catering and transport.
  • Monitor designated individual and shared email accounts, triage enquiries and provide timely, professional support to student ambassadors, school contacts and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support, including records management, and process improvement.
  • Support projects through research, data collection, and the preparation of reports, presentations, correspondence, and submissions.
  • Maintain databases and online systems, process procurement and financial transactions, and assist with system improvements.
  • Apply policies and procedures and contribute to the development of administrative processes.
  • Monitor budgets, maintain financial records, and prepare invoicing, costings and reports.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About you

  • The occupant of this position will hold a minimum of an associate diploma qualification and at least two years relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant skills, knowledge and experience.

In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience providing administrative and operational support within a complex, service-focused environment.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple activities, manage changing priorities and meet operational deadlines.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate information across databases, spreadsheets and online systems.

Candidates must have full unrestricted Australian work rights and will be subject to a National criminal history check.

This is a full time, fixed term opportunity for 12 months primarily based at our Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-site university, you may be required to work across other locations.

Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary

HEW 5 - $82,415.66 - $92,456.55 + 17% superannuation. Full package range - $96,426.31 - $108,174.16.
