Job Description
Primary campus location can be either at Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast!
An exciting opportunity to join the Student Engagement and Success department of Student Life, as a Senior Student Success Officer in the Student Success Team. A forward‑thinking team that’s passionate about innovation, committed to supporting each other, and driven to achieve excellence together.
Reporting to the Student Success and Transition Coordinator, you will:
- Respond to various student enquiries about enrolment applications, progression planning, and success
- Provide advice on course enrolment and academic pathways
- Help solve student issues that fall outside standard policies
- Support and collaborate with internal teams through the sharing of expertise and contribution to coordinated activities and service delivery
- Support and be involved in student activities from recruitment and orientation to program completion
- Assist with Student Success programs and coaching initiatives
- Follow university policies and legal requirements, including equity and safety
This is a dynamic and highly collaborative role involving administrative and stakeholder engagement responsibilities.

You are an organised and approachable professional who enjoys problem-solving and making things run smoothly behind the scenes. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift, and you take pride in delivering high-quality administrative support with accuracy and care.
You bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, along with a genuine interest in contributing to a positive student and staff experience.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience across the student lifecycle, including enrolment, academic planning, and student-facing services and activities
- A working knowledge of CRM systems and the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A good understanding and appreciation of working within and across teams for effective support service delivery
What we can offer
This is a continuing full-time position based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
HEW Level 5 salary range $82,415 - $92,456 per annum + 17% superannuation.
