Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and highly capable Placements Officer to join the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences team.
Within this role, you will work closely with key Academic leads and Industry partners to support student placements with agencies external to the University. You will be a primary contact for students, industry partners and staff requiring advice in relation to student placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international student placements and related administrative processes
- Build and maintain relationships with placement providers and industry partners
- Manage placement systems, student compliance requirements and reporting
- Provide advice and support to students, academic staff and external stakeholders regarding placements
- Support quality assurance, accreditation activities and placement-related events and communications
About you
To be successful in this role you will have completed an associate diploma or certificate level qualification with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or training.
You will also:
- Possess a high level of initiative, excellent interpersonal communication skills, effective organisational, administrative skills and be able to work share.
- Demonstrate the ability to problem-solve and to work at pace in a dynamic workplace.
- Possess proven ability to prepare correspondence and maintain and operate database systems.
- Be resourceful and able to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with placement management software SONIA is highly regarded.

This is a continuing, full-time position based at Griffith University Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 5 range $82,415 - $92,456 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $96,426 - $108,174 per annum.
