Job Description

Working closely with students, the Senior Student Success Officer plays a key role in providing high level advice and support to students from enrolment to program completion. It contributes to initiatives that enhance student engagement and success. 

Reporting to the Student Success and Transition Coordinator, you will: 

  • Respond to student enquiries about enrolment, academic planning, and success 
  • Provide advice on course enrolment and academic pathways.
  • Help solve student issues that fall outside standard policies. 
  • Support and be involved in student activities from recruitment and orientation to Program completion. 
  • Assist with Student Success programs and coaching initiatives. 
  • Follow university policies and legal requirements, including equity and safety. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Demonstrated experience with the student lifecycle including enrolment, academic planning and student facing services and activities. 
  • A working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good understanding and appreciation of working within and across teams for effective support service delivery. 

This is a dynamic and highly collaborative role involving administrative and stakeholder engagement responsibilities. 

What we can offer 

This is a continuing HEW Level 5 position Based at the Brisbane South (Nathan) University campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus university, you may be required to work across other campus locations.  Base Salary $79,705- $89,416 + 17% super per annum.
