Job Description
We currently have two full-time, permanent vacancies in our Department of Accounting, Finance, and Economics, commencing in Trimester 2, 2025:
- Lecturer – Finance (specialising in personal finance/financial planning)
- Lecturer – Accounting (specialising in business law and taxation)
As a Lecturer at Griffith, you will:

About You
We are looking for individuals with a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline, a special interest in teaching personal finance/financial planning or business law and taxation, and the ability to network effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
You should also demonstrate leadership in teaching and curriculum development, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to working in a collegial manner.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Level B Lecturer range $110,464 - $131,180 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $129,243 - $153,481 per annum.
Both positions are continuing and full time and can be based either at our Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.
