About the Opportunity

Make it matter by improving the student experience through smart automations, apps and technologies. In this role you will form a key part of the Griffith Automation team who deliver high-quality solutions which drive meaningful outcomes across the organisation.
Work with industry-leading software RPA vendors such as UiPath and keep sight of the end product through use of Atlassian Jira, Agile sprints and regular showcases to your customers.

Key Responsibilities
You will enjoy working with a variety of business partners, technical staff and leaders across the organisation to deliver RPA automations. You will contribute to the technical solution design and delivery of various automation projects at the university to achieve key business objectives. Additionally, you will carry out the following roles and responsibilities:
- Develop and support new RPA automations & bots through deployment, UAT and hypercare phases
- Support existing RPA automations in production through assessment and implementation of change requests and bug fixes
- Perform Solution design alongside the Business Analysis team to create the to-be process
- Bring a heightened focus on testing – particularly building automated testing capabilities
- Assist in the upgrade of RPA robot software as required
- Represent the Griffith Automation team when interacting with any host system upgrade projects which may affect or impact existing automations in production. Perform impact assessments and enact changes to production automations as required.
- Assist the Business Analysts and Product Manager to seek out and find suitable automation opportunities across the organisation
- Assist in the realisation of ROI for robots and automations across the organisation
About you
- Proven experience developing with RPA technologies (e.g. UiPath/BluePrism/Microsoft/Automation Anywhere) in a corporate environment is highly desirable (attended/unattended)
- Agile development experience, and understanding of the Agile framework and Atlassian tools is desired
- Ability to manage multiple assignments
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks appropriately
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience and/or education/training is required.
- Industry certification form RPA software vendors (such as UiPath Academy/BluePrism, etc) is desired

This is a continuing, full time position and can be based at either the Griffith University Nathan or Gold Coast campuses. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
HEW 7 Salary - Base range $98,603.19 - $106,825.89 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $115,365.74 - $124,986.30 per annum.
