About the Opportunity
University Operations is an integral part of Digital Solutions, we provide digital solutions that enhance the University staff experience. Our aim is to make these experiences the most effective and streamlined possible through automation and other tools available. We extend our services to also support Student work spaces and productivity tool usage.

Key Responsibilities
You will enjoy working with a variety of business partners, technical staff and leaders across the organisation to deliver automations. You will contribute to the technical solution design and delivery of various automation projects at the university to achieve key business objectives. Additionally, you will carry out the following roles and responsibilities:
- Perform Solution design alongside the Business Analysis team to create the to-be process
- Develop and support new automations through deployment, UAT and hypercare phases
- Support existing automations in production through assessment and implementation of change requests and bug fixes
- Provide direction and leadership to the development team including use of development and coding standards
- Bring a heightened focus on testing – particularly building automated testing capabilities
- Assist in the upgrade of robot software as required
- Represent the Griffith Automation team when interacting with any host system upgrade projects which may affect or impact existing automations in production. Perform impact assessments and enact changes to production automations as required.
- Assist the Business Analysts and Product Manager to seek out and find suitable automation opportunities across the organisation
- Development experience with RPA technologies is required (attended/unattended)
- Assist in the realisation of ROI for robots and automations across the organisation
About you
- Strong communication skills
- Proven experience working as a Development Engineer in a corporate environment
- Prior experience working on RPA automation projects
- Experience with project management software such as Jira
- Understanding of the Agile framework and methodology

What we can offer
This is a continuing opportunity and can be based at either our Nathan or Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other campuses.
Salary HEW 8 – Base range of $108,764.25 - $122,356.68 + 17% super. Full package range - $127,254.18 - $143,157.32
