About the opportunity

The Learning and Teaching - Teaching Spaces team is seeking a functional analyst to join us until the end of the year implementing a new digital signage system across multiple campuses. 

As Functional Analyst – Teaching Spaces you will undertake functional administration, support and development of Teaching Space solutions that enhance the experience for our Students and Academics.

This includes performing business process and systems analysis to specify requirements for changes and enhancements to our audio-visual and other platforms ensuring our teaching spaces adapt to the changing learning and teaching needs of our students and staff.

You will ensure a smooth transition to new teaching technologies, systems and supporting business processes. You will investigate and resolve problems and transfer knowledge to colleagues to facilitate self-help.

About you

  • You will be a collaborative, customer centric team member who develops productive working relationships and partnerships across the organisation. The successful candidate will have experience and expertise in working with Audio Visual equipment and associated technologies preferably within the Education or corporate sectors.
  • You will understand and prioritise user needs and be committed to delivering solutions that contribute to a remarkable student experience.
  • You will have a passion for delivering high quality solutions and a strong desire to build a career within the Audio Visual and Teaching Technologies industries.
  • You will be able to demonstrate logical fault diagnostic, technical writing and documentation skills.
  • It is also desirable that you have a working knowledge of data networking technologies and terminology.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 20/12/2024 based at Griffith Nathan Campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus university, the successful candidate will be required to work across all campuses.

Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

HEW 5 Salary - $76,236.88 - $85,525.00 + 17% super. Full package range - $89,197.15 - $100,064.25
