Job Description

Are you passionate about fostering student engagement and supporting vibrant campus communities? The Office of Campus Life is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Clubs Officer to join the Student Associations team and contribute to the enhancement of student life at our Brisbane, Logan, and Digital campuses.

The Office of Campus Life oversees the planning, construction, and ongoing operation of the University's built environment and grounds. We provide essential ancillary and support services that encourage student engagement and offer amenities to staff, students, and visitors. Our Student Associations are at the heart of campus life, promoting active and healthy student communities, creating opportunities for social interaction, and supporting the diverse needs of our student population.

As a Clubs Officer, you will assist the Student Communities Coordinator in administering the annual Clubs program. You will support Student Associations in responding to current and emerging student needs through the planning and delivery of events, projects, and programs developed in consultation with students.

In addition, you will have:

  • An associate diploma level qualification with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Evidence of additional mandatory professional registrations/qualifications as required by the local work area (e.g., Current Qld Blue Card, Current CPR/First Aid Certificate, Driver's Licence).

What we can offer
This is a continuing, part-time (80% FTE) position and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 4 range $70,419 - $74,299 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $82,390 - $86,930 per annum.
