Job Description
Located in a tranquil bush setting in Toohey Forest, Griffith’s Early Childcare centres welcome children from three months to five years. Our dedicated team offers a nurturing, engaging and stimulating environment assisting the children of Griffith University staff, students and the wider community to grow and develop their potential.
This is a continuing, full- time position based at the Nathan campus.
Pay rate is dependent on level of qualification as per the Griffith University EBA.
Duties
- Support the Lead Educator to achieve the efficient and effective running of a childcare room.
- Assist with implementing the various aspects of the day-to-day running of the ‘Indoor/Outdoor’ program.
- Build attachments with the children, nurturing, protecting and promoting their wellbeing.
Qualifications
About you
- Completion of a Certificate 3 in Early Education and Care or studying towards a Diploma in early childhood or have Diploma in early education and care services.
